Below is a sample itinerary for a full-day private Ice Cap hiking experience.

Hotel Pickup & Briefing

Your private guide will collect you from your accommodation in Ilulissat. On the drive out of town, your guide will give a safety briefing, talk you through the hiking route, and tell you all about the Greenland Ice Sheet, including its size, history, and environmental significance.

Transfer to the Ice Cap

Travel in a luxury vehicle to a remote area just outside Ilulissat. Along the way, enjoy views of Arctic streams and rugged rock formations. The drive itself offers an immersive look at the inland wilderness.

Upon arrival, you’ll gear up with crampons and poles (provided) and prepare to step out onto the ice.
